Author, Kevin McDonald is a modern day Renaissance man who is passionate about changing the human condition for the better. For much of the past fifteen years, Kevin has dedicated his professional skills and life experience to intervening on vital societal issues. From the prevention of personal and corporate cyber crimes to the eradication of domestic abuse and child pornography, Kevin is recognized as a tireless advocate for those least able to defend themselves.

Kevin is a leader in the fight to end child and teen sex trafficking and over the past decade has become an expert in the social and public policy challenges surrounding these issues. Kevin is a strong believer that teen homelessness, the ever growing number of broken families and early hyper sexualization of our children are major factors.

Kevin is a trusted advisor to some of America’s most influential people. He has served as an advisor to several state and federal legislators, members of law enforcement, charitable boards, abuse prevention professionals and several businesses on the issues surrounding technology, crime prevention, organizational development strategy and more.

As Executive Vice President at Irvine-based Alvaka Networks, Kevin operates as a company spokesperson, leads strategic development, and performs security and regulatory consulting engagements. The company has grown to become a standard bearer in network management and security, and a key partner to some of the industry’s largest manufacturers and organizations.

Kevin is a life long advocate for children and families, particularly in the area of sexual predator prevention. He is author of the novel, Practically Invisible, a fictional account of the adventure, survival, love and heartache of a group of runaway and throwaway teens that make their home in the woods of Virginia. He has written for and/or been an expert in dozens of articles and several radio and TV interviews.

Kevin is the co-producer and host of FACETS Television a human interest interview show that runs on Time Warner and the Internet. Kevin is also an occasional guest host for EyeOn Entertainment. He is a classically trained master goldsmith with over 16,000 hours of work in the design, manufacturing and restoration of fine modern jewelry and antiques.
